The park has filed plans with the South Florida Water Management District under the name “Project 830,” which outlines the removal and replacement of the iconic attraction. The project reveal some intriguing details. Three new buildings are planned for the site, two larger buildings located behind the Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon attraction may serve as the station and maintenance facilities for the upcoming replacement. A smaller third structure could function as an electrical hub. Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit has been a unique offering in the park’s lineup, with onboard music selections giving riders a personal soundtrack to their adventure. Although, its rumored demise began when song options began to dwindle on the attraction over the past year. GREAT BEAR is a fun layout, it starts with a nice scenic spin over THE HOLLOW inside Hersheypark. Then throws a bunch of Positive G’s at you, and ends with a high speed rail over the river and a snappy corkscrew with an awesome entry.
