Think in moments… not years. If you only see your parents 2x a year and they live for another 5 years… you don’t have 5 years with them, you have 10 more visits with them. There are college friends I see once every 5 years, I’ll probably see them a few more times in my life. Two tips: 1. Prioritize the relationships that are important to you. Make it a point to see the people that matter. 2. And then… Make the moments matter. Be present. Think in moments.

And how intense is their drive for success? Once we're confident in the team’s capabilities, we then move to evaluate the product and the opportunity it presents.

Take time for yourself... it’s a superpower! Aim for three hours daily in small increments, like 20 minutes of breathwork, running, and sauna sessions, plus some reading. Don’t feel guilty... prioritize it. This improves your role as a boss, friend, parent, and partner.

In 2017 I lived on a monastery for 16 days with 8 monks. wanted to take a deep dive into my spirituality and I learn best by DOING…so I asked Sara for a 16 day pass. She agreed. Here are my 3 biggest take aways from that experience 1. Thinking and spending time alone is so important to connecting to your intuition. 2. Learning to he where my feet are. Being present. 3. Mono tasking. Do one thing at a time and do it to completion and well. And obviously, spending time around different people and cultures and learning is so important to growing. I doubled down on that this year by going to Kenya, Tanzania, and New Zealand.

My biggest business failure: Sheets. BUT, it was also my biggest business lesson! Sheets… dissolvable strips you put on your tongue that gave you a boost of caffeine…was an AMAZING idea. Where we went wrong is we took it to market before the product was ready, let me explain… Caffeine is SUPER bitter which is why you see so many energy drinks with lots of sugar and sweetener. It's hard to mask for taste of caffeine. Our strips were amazingly effective….but BITTER. We had an INCREDIBLE marketing campaigns, insane distribution, huge names associated with the brand…it was all tee’d up for massive success The first 2 weeks OFF THE CHART SALES… people were excited.. they WANTED to LOVE the product. Then they stopped. Nobody rebought. Because it tasted like sh*t You can have the best marketing in the world…it will get people to buy something once. BUT if you want people to rebuy, if you want to KEEP customers… the product (or service) has to be amazing. #LessonLearned
