DIY SIMPLE BOW GARLANDS! Do you have a hard time tying bows?!? These are my ‘cheat’ ways of making pretty bows😆 They are perfect for the holidays, but I also use them for birthdays and special occasions too. The first one is made out of wool-blend felt. I used a 9x12 sheet for each color and cut it long ways in strips a little less than an inch wide. Fold both sides in and use a rubber hair tie to keep it in place. Use a small piece of felt to cover the rubber band and then hot glue them all together! Bow garland number two uses velvet ribbon. Cut four pieces of ribbon. The size of the cuts will depend on how big you want the bows! I used the following measurements for mine: 10 inches for the base (longest piece), two pieces of 4 inch ribbon (for the tails) and one piece approximately 2.5 inches to go around the center. DIY FLORAL WALL HANGING! I found this wooden heart from @Michaels Stores and used some paper straws I had to make this cute heart wall decor. *A few tips! 1: Use a lot of hot glue. You want to make sure the straws are stuck on really well before you start cutting the shape. 2: Fill the bottom of the straws with hot glue and let it dry before adding stems in, that way they dont slide out the bottom.
