And what better soup than one that reminds you of summer (grilling) 😂! Let’s make cheeseburger soup! 🍔 ✨Ingredients 1 pkg ground beef 3-4 potatoes 2 carrots 2 stalks of celery 1 yellow onion 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 2 tbsp flour 2 cartons of chicken broth 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup heavy cream Salt and pepper Dry parsley Green onion for garnish 1️⃣ Small dice the onion, carrots and celery (or julienne the carrots). Medium dice the potatoes. Shred cheddar cheese. 2️⃣ In a large pot brown the ground beef. The. Remove and set aside. Cook the onion, carrots and celery in the same grease for 3-4 min. Add the flour, mix well, then add the chicken broth. Don’t worry if lumps form at first - they’ll resolve in time and will turn the broth velvety smooth. 3️⃣ Once the broth starts boiling add back the meat. Season with salt and pepper to taste and dry parsley. Add Worcestershire sauce. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 min. 4️⃣ Add the shredded cheddar cheese, mix well until the cheese is melted and incorporated into the broth. Then add the potatoes. Let the soup continue to cook until the potatoes softened (about 15 min). 5️⃣ Add heavy cream. Bring back to simmer, then remove from the heat. 6️⃣ Serve topped with more cheese and green onions (bacon bits would also be a good topping). Enjoy and stay warm! . . Follow @my_gourmet_home . . 00:25✨RECIPE👇 Have you ever had a tomato soup without a grilled cheese sandwich for dipping? Me neither! It’s like having a peanut butter sandwich without jelly! 🤷♀️🙈 I went all out on this one using a homemade sourdough sandwich loaf (who even am I?) and of course the best cheese for the job - @vvsupremo Shredded Chihuahua Brand Cheese [AD]. But let’s talk about the soup! Roasted heirloom tomatoes, red peppers, onions and garlic! The flavor combination is unmatched! With just a touch of heavy cream for an extra lush finish! ✨Ingredients 3-4 large heirloom tomatoes 1 red bell pepper 1 large onion 1 garlic head 1 cup chicken broth 1/4 cup heavy cream Fresh basil Salt and pepper Olive oil Sandwich bread @vvsupremo Chihuahua Brand Cheese Mayo 1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 425F. 2️⃣ Core the red pepper and peel the onion. Cut the pepper, tomatoes and onion in large chunks and arrange on a foil lined cookie sheet. Season with salt and pepper and olive oil. 3️⃣ Cut the top of the garlic head off to expose the cloves inside. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil and wrap tightly in foil. Place on the cookie sheet with the veggies. 4️⃣ Bake for 20-25 min until the veggies are softened (watch them so they don’t burn). The garlic might take a bit longer so take the cookie sheet out but leave the garlic in the oven for another 10 min. 5️⃣ Place the veggies in a large blender. When the garlic is cool enough to handle squeeze it to release the garlic cloves and add to the veggies. Add in the chicken broth and process until homogenous. 6️⃣ Pour everything into a medium sauce pan and bring to simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and fresh basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 7️⃣ Make the grilled cheese - spread mayo on both sides of each bread slice. Place @vvsupremo Chihuahua Brand Cheese in between and cook on medium heat on a pan. Periodically flip the sandwiches so the sides don’t burn while the cheese inside is melting. Enjoy! . Follow @my_gourmet_home . 00:27✨RECIPE👇 I’m in full blown soup mode (even though it’s 80F in Chicago today, ha!) and have a few recipes planned for the upcoming weeks so stay tuned. This is a white lasagna recipe because (you guessed it!) it doesn’t use tomato sauce - but it’s just as creamy and cheesy and hearty as the “regular” version and the best part - you can make it from prep to finish in less than an hour! ✨Ingredients Italian sausage- mild or spicy 1 bunch of kale 1 large yellow onion 2-3 garlic cloves 2 tbsp flour 2 boxes of chicken broth 1/2 cup heavy cream 6-7 large lasagna noodles Ricotta for topping Shredded Parmesan for topping Olive oil Salt and pepper Italian seasoning 1️⃣ Mince the onion and garlic. Clean the stems off the kale and chop up the leaves. 2️⃣ In a large soup pot heat up a splash of olive oil and brown the sausage. Remove the sausage from the pot and add the onion and garlic. Saute for 30 sec to 1 min until fragrant. Add the flour and mix well. Add the chicken broth (don’t worry if it seems lumpy at first - the lumps will resolve during cooking the soup broth will thicken from the flour. 3️⃣ Bring to boil. Add back the sausage and pour in the heavy cream. Mix in the kale. Break the lasagna noodles and add to the soup. Cook 15-20 min until the noodles are ready. 4️⃣ Serve topping with a spoonful of ricotta and shaved Parmesan. Enjoy! . .
