Kitchen update part 1 ✨ Ahhhhh I’m so excited to share with you what has been going on behind the scenes. Our kitchen is coming along just how we envisioned it so far. We went with the same stone we had in our old home which is Taj Mahal counters. Our hood is in 🙌😮‍💨 we have been waiting patiently to see it completed and photos don’t do it justice she’s a beauty! Tacos De Carne Asada 🌮🌶️ Growing up my mom would make us the most delicious carne asada tacos. She served them with cabbage, onion and the spiciest salsa. She made them always with a lot of lime and she swore that her tacos were better than the tacos from the famous king taco from east LA🌮 🤣 They really were. Here’s a tip on making carne asada tacos at home. Cut the meat up and cook it covered for about 10 minutes. Just until the meat browns a bit. Once browned, remove the meat from the pan and chop it up very fine. Toss it back onto the pan. We like to add in big chunks of onion 🧅 for flavor, later we remove them and toss them away. This recipe will feed 6-10 people •Meat 🥩 4 pounds of flap meat also known as skirt steak •Marinade : 8 limes Taco seasoning of your choice 1 can of Beer 🍺 ( optional) Salt, pepper Garlic powder Tacos De Carne Asada 🌮🌶️ Al crecer, mi madre nos haría los tacos de carne asada más deliciosos. Los sirvió con repollo, cebolla y la salsa más picante. Ella siempre los hacía con mucha lima y juró que sus tacos eran mejores que los tacos del famoso taco del rey del este de Los Ángeles🌮 🤣 Realmente lo eran. Aquí hay un consejo para hacer tacos de carne asada en casa. Corta la carne y cocínala cubierta durante unos 10 minutos. Solo hasta que la carne se dore un poco. Una vez dorada, retira la carne de la sartén y pártala muy bien. Tíralo de nuevo en la sartén. Nos gusta añadir grandes trozos de cebolla 🧅 para darle sabor, luego los quitamos y los tiramos.
