Whilst I was pregnant, I spoke out a lot about hating pregnancy. I hated how I felt, and I hated how much it effected my mental health. Pregnancy took a MASSIVE hit to my mentality. Every day I was pregnant, I just had to try my hardest to get through the day. I was so down and depressed, and I genuinely had never felt work (mentally) in my whole life. Pregnancy hormones do not work well with me. But for me, once baby was here, all of that goes away! It can be a different kind of “being down”, but its far easier to manage once baby is here, than when you are pregnant! When I was pregnant, I didn’t do anything, I would literally just spend my days wallowing and being not doing anything. Now, I still have bad days. But I’m getting stuff done, looking after myself, and just doing so much better! Pregnancy is hard, but it gets easier! ❤️ #preg #pregnant #pregnantlife #pregnanttiktok #pregnant🤰 #pregnantbelly #pregnantmama #pregnanttok #pregnancy #pregnancyjourney #pregnancytiktok #pregnancylife #pregnancymentalhealth #prenatalmentalhealth #prenataldepression #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthawareness #postpartum #postpartumbody #postpartumrecovery #postpartumjourney #postpartumlife #postpartummentalhealth #postnatalmentalhealth #6weekspostpartum #newborn #newbornbaby #babylove #babytiktok #babytok #babymama #6weeksold #june2023baby #pregnancystruggles Pregnancy struggles Hating pregnancy Pregnancy mental health Poor mental health in pregnancy Prenatal mental health Prenatal depression Postnatal mental health Postpartum 6 weeks postpartum Postpartum journey It gets easier

I had a really tough start to my career but in my current role I am honestly so happy. I have work life balance with lots of flexibility, my mental health is so good I’ve come off medication, I look forward to going into work and I love my days off too. I used to stay in bed late because I was exhausted from work but now I’m out of bed early out of choice because I have so much energy nowadays. Nursing can be rough but there are so many hospitals, locations and specialties out there, try somewhere new and it might just be perfect for you 🦋 #rn #nurse #registerednurse #studentnurse
