Grinder salad sub in a mason jar 🤤 For the dressing * Mayonnaise: 2 tablespoons * Red wine vinegar: 1 tablespoon * Olive oil: 1 tablespoon * Dried oregano: 1/2 teaspoon * Salt: 1/4 teaspoon (adjust to taste) * Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon (adjust to taste) * Fresh garlic: 2 cloves, minced For the salad * Cherry tomatoes, halved * Red onion, diced or thinly sliced * Banana peppers, sliced * Mozzarella cheese, cubed or shredded * Deli meats (pepperoni, ham, turkey), sliced or diced * Iceberg lettuce, shredded 1. Prepare the dressing: In a small bowl, combine a little mayo (about 1-2 tablespoons), a splash of red wine vinegar, a drizzle of olive oil (about 1 tablespoon), a pinch of dried oregano, garlic salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine. Adjust the quantities to suit your taste preferences. 2. Pour a little of the dressing into the jar 3. Layer the ingredients in the following order, compacting each layer as you go: * Cherry tomatoes * Red onion * Banana peppers * Mozzarella cheese * Deli meats (pepperoni, ham, turkey) 4. Fill the remaining space in the jar with shredded iceberg lettuce, packing it down gently. 5. Seal the mason jar tightly with the lid. 6. If you plan to store the salad for a few days, refrigerate it. The salad should stay fresh for up to 3-4 days. 7. BEACH DRINK Why bother making this? First off, you can make this weeks in advance because once it’s clarified, it is shelf stable. You don’t need to refrigerate it, but it does need to stay out of the light in a cool place. Mine stay in my basement. Clarifying changes the texture, it gives it a fat wash quality, which makes the drink silky. Who cares about texture, you say? We all do. Clarifying also calms everything down. Imagine a proper old-fashioned VS. an old-fashioned with no ice that hasn’t been diluted. One is nice and softened, and one is hot and a little harsh. Milk softens the cocktail and makes it drinkable. I serve my cocktails on ice, so I never add dilution. YES, you can use coconut milk, but it doesn’t get quite as clear. 1.75 cups Tequila 1 cup Orange Liqueur 3/4 cups Lime Juice Agave to taste (optional) Makes 1 - 750ml bottle I think this will be it for clarified drinks for a while. This will also be it for margaritas for a while. I feel like there’s way too many margaritas on instagram. Do we need a passion fruit watermelon aperol Mango tropical margarita spritz? No... No we don't. That sucks.

This wasn’t as easy as it looks, I first launched my Duotone kite from the JT Pro Center kitebeach and headed towards a rocky island 🏝️. But guess what? A massive Barracuda decided to cut my line 🤦♂️. I kitesurf back to the beach, set up the line again, and changed my spot to the outer reef where I was trolling the line and fishing lure. Persistence paid off when I hooked a good-sized yellowtail! 🎣 While reeling it in, I couldn’t help but wish it wasn’t another Barracuda, as I’m not usually in the water during the catch as the fish got closer to me… Things got intense! 😅 Balancing the kite and reeling in the fish demanded a lot of energy and more focus than I expected, but after a good 10-12 minutes, I finally surfaced my catch 🐠 Initially, I planned to grill it on the bbq and share it with the awesome crew at JT Pro Center (they were waiting for me to come back with the fresh catch) However, carrying the fish, line, and kite together was quite a challenge, and since it wasn’t properly hooked, I decided to let it go, a happy ending all around 😃. I went kiteboarding with a fishing rod without any plan and I am glad I didn’t catch anything bigger, I’m not sure I would have managed to reel in any bigger size fish … 😂 The staff may have been a bit disappointed, but we ended up enjoying something else delicious 🥲. 🪁 Flying high with the amazing @duotone.kiteboarding Evo Dlab 11 and Jaime sls 136. 📸 Captured the moments with #insta360 X3 camera 🏝️Spot is the JT Pro Center Kiteschool and hotel #fishing #fishtok #kitesurf #kitesurfing #kiteboarding
