A dining experience like no other 🥘🇮🇳 This is not only the most romantic restaurant in Jaipur , but India overall . The amount of detail that went into this restaurant is just insane. 📍Mohan Mahal Architecturally inspired by Sheesh Mahal, one of the most magnificent pavilions at Amer Fort, Mohan Mahal, is the utmost elegant restaurant at the Palace. A marvel of creativity, this dining outlet has been carefully crafted over the course of 3 years by the same family of the artisans who designed Sheesh Mahal of the Amber Fort in Jaipur. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience amidst the walls decorated with 350 thousand pieces of cut glass of the traditional Thikri work that reflect the light from the candles creating an idyllic setting. The Mahal serves up authentic royal palace cuisines of Rajasthan, giving guests an impression of dining under the stars while listening to live classical instrumental music just like the royals of Rajputana. Restaurant details Location: Lobby level theleelapalace_jaipur Restaurant timings Dinner: 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm #india #jaipur #leelapalacejaipur #indiatiktok #indiatravel #travelindia #travel #travelinfluencer #luxurylife #luxurydining #luxurytravel

🇮🇳INDIA TRAVEL DIARIES: episode 5, the one where I couldn’t wait to leave Jaipur. Ngl, I had a few cries because I was so emotionally drained and I was so ready to leave India asap. I had one of my worst days in Jaipur. I was there for 3 nights. The first day was with company and a guide, it was probably the better day. But by the end of my stay, I was so burned out from constantly having to tell people NO because being harassed 24/7 was just SO draining. The Pink City area was absolutely the worst - I get that it’s the touristy zone but damn I’ve never experienced anything like it. I had intended to try to go shopping for some souvenirs but I quickly cancelled that idea. I stood at a junction once waiting for a taxi for 45 minutes because the traffic was awful and Uber drivers are always telling you to cancel on the app and pay them in cash. Passing vehicles would stop and ask me where I’m going and then decide no, and proceed to stay there stagnant and stare at you while you looked for another 🥲 That day I really was on the verge of breaking down because while I waited for my car it got progressively darker as the sun set and I felt more and more stressed with each passing minute. Perhaps it was because it was international women’s day and also Shiva’s birthday, so everyone was in town so it felt extra hectic and overwhelming, but the whole time in Jaipur I felt so on edge. That being said, here are the things I did enjoy in Jaipur: - Hawa Mahal was stunning, and best visited in the morning. The area is crazy busy though so beware! - both the City Palace and Amber Fort were very pretty and worth a visit. - I personally loved the Observatory and thought it was such an interesting place. - Masala Chowk (see previous video) was a lovely food court for trying many street food items. I went with a few hostel friends. - Lassiwala has great fresh lassi and it’s popular with the locals too so you know it’s going to be good! #solotravel #india #jaipur #rajasthan #traveldiaries #thoughts
