Medusa lived on a boat with her father, a retired pirate who she admired dearly. He would tell her stories of his pillages and misadventures sailing to distant lands. A recurring story that he told her was legend of the Devil’s eye, an old pirate’s folktale. “One day my pet, the treasure will be mine, and when I venture into Davy Jone’s locker, it shall be yours.” One night, Medusa awoke to find her father missing. No note was left. The only solution was to search for the Devil’s eye in hopes of finding her father. Her only company in this world were her two pets alligators (which her father hated). Medusa used his secret maps to retrace his steps seeking answers. One route landed her in London, where an ❌ marked the spot to a grand looking manor. Living in the manor, was an elegant woman who seemed perfect despite a slight smoking problem. Medusa became enamored with her presence. She confided in this woman and told her about her father and the lost treasure. “Devil’s eye? Fool. You mean de Vil’s eye.
