Children will not love every second of every lesson. But I always do my best to get a few smiles before I push them. Some children will scream or cry where others will happily jump in. The more you practice with your little ones the sooner they will start to enjoy the water!! Soon as they fully submerge you helo them turn around udnerwate rusing only 1 hand! Once turned around guide them back to the wall to hold on! You then can have thenm crawl back to stairs or crawl up and do it again! #swimlessons

Anxiety is real and many children deal with it around the water. The water can be scary and its even more scary if you are not introduced to it as a baby! When working with an Anxious child I find its best to be firm and push them through 1 step at a time. Pinpoint the true fear and dive into that with them constantly showing them that its safe and they can master it with just a little practice! If they make a mistake and get scared DO not stop practicing. Keep practicing until they get it right and overcome that fear! #swimlessons #anxiety
