I’m not sure who out there needs to hear this but… I was single for a very long time. At first, I just wasn’t ready for marriage and kids. I didn’t have that longing for it until my mid thirties. Then it took awhile to find the right guy (a few months before my 39th birthday to be exact) I got married at 41 years old and we tried so hard for babies. Obviously because of my age we had to do IVF. It took 5 years and about 10 rounds of IVF and mini IVF’s, 2 miscarriages and a lot of stress, sadness, anxiety, and depression to get my 2 beautiful boys. It was a financial and mental struggle but they are worth every second and I’m beyond blessed and grateful for them. Then at 47 years old after I gave birth to my youngest son, I uploaded my very first Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle YouTube video. It has been a passion of mine and after 5 years, it has grown into a full time dream career for me. I have almost 900k followers and subscribers across all of my social media platforms. But it didn’t come easy it’s a lot of hard work. I am so happy that I never listened to people who told me I was too old to have kids, too old to wear what I want or too old to have long hair or too old to start a brand new career as an influencer. It doesn’t always work out the way you want, but isn’t it better to try just in case it does work out?
