We removed our rv shower + it turned into a MUCH bigger project 🫣🚐🚿 The original plan was just to remove the shower liner, replace it with these Palisade tiles, and then I was just going to repaint the shower pan to save money. (Like I have in all the past renovations) Unfortunately, we didn’t think about the rounded edges of the shower pan, which in turn made it unusable. 😭 We looked into a ton of alternative options and we could’ve gotten a custom pan made, but the prices online were astronomical and we’re on a tight timeline. We have some friends @thehivedrive who did the same process in their bus so we thought if it worked in a school bus, why wouldn’t it work in an RV? 🤷🏻‍♀️ We also did run into some issues along the way because Tyler had to find specific fittings for our shower drain, but he eventually got it figured out. We removed our rv shower part 2 🚐🚿 The next step of redoing our shower flooring was to map out the tile, and then officially lay down the mortar, tile, and then grout 👏🏼 It’s not perfect but we’re pretty proud of this project for it to be our very first time. The 1st thing you should replace when you buy a used RV… is a toilet 🚽🚐 Who knows how many people have used that toilet.😷 and ours was a plastic toilet so we knew it just had to go. This is our second time buying the Dometic Model 310 from @Camping World because we love it so much.
