Dollar store DIY creepy wall art!! I must admit, this turned out better than I thought it would! The entire project cost less than $4, as I already had most of the supplies on hand. Here’s what you need: 1- skull (dollar store) 2- skeleton hands (dollar store) Frame, I cut out cardboard for the backing Fabric stiffener spray, or liquid starch Cheese cloth Spray paint (not necessary, but I wanted to make it 1 solid color, so I used an off-white paint) Directions: 1) Glue the skull and hands to the cardboard (I used hot glue) 2) Soak cheesecloth in fabric stiffener and ring out excess liquid 3) Drape wet cheesecloth over the skull/hands. Here’s a fun DIY you can create using plastic skulls from @dollartree 💀 All supplies are linked in my LTK https://liketk.it/4iEEt What you need: 20” planter (I spray painted using marble finish spray) Tomato cage Zip ties 13 plastic skulls (dollar tree)- I spray painted gold Lights (I used orange fairy lights) Leaf garland (I used 3-4 garlands and spray painted black) Directions: 1) Place tomato cage upside down in planter and zip tie the top 2) Drill holes in the back of skulls to attach to the cage using zip ties 3) Wrap garland around the cage 4) Add lights!! 2 years later, and this still looks great! To spot clean, I vacuum around the rocks. To deep clean, I put the rocks in a colainder and wash them along with the mat. We've lost a few rocks over the years, but they're easy to replace. 😅 (Because I always get the comments: NO, don't make this if you have pets or children that poop in rocks, eat rocks, or throw rocks. NO, we have never found mold in the rocks.
