Solo female travel in Africa The African continent is huge and I think there has been a lot of stigma created over the years. In my opinion most of the negative stigma for female travelers is wrong…it is not the reality. I recently went to both Benin and Tunisia but what is there to do in Benin? There are many different activities to do in Benin, what is there to do in Tunisia? Tunisia is a very very diverse country with everything from waterfalls to oasis to desert. I don’t think West Africa is always known as a solo, female traveler destination, but I would definitely say that Ghana is a perfect place for traveling. Is there anything to do when you travel in Ghana? There’s a lot to do in Ghana, everyone speaks English, and people are very welcoming to foreigners. Tanzania is a hotspot for some of its more touristy destinations. What is there to do in Tanzania?
