1. I used 2 drawer cabinets, one 30 inch base cabinet, and a pantry cabinet from Home Depot and sprayed them with a @behr cabinet enamel in the color Keepsakes. I poured a white concrete countertop then built two towers of shelves to sit on top. This alone has doubled the amount of storage we have in our kitchen space. . 2. I have a tutorial on how to build these shelves on my profile, I used cabinet hardware to create gallery railing, and use these shelves to hold things like toilet paper, paper towels, vases and what not when I’m not using them. . 3.I get a lot of questions about this little project. I used 1x6 boards to create basically a U shaped that fit over-top of the washer/dryer, then added a 1x2 to the front to add some additional support and coverage. I just used wood glue and brad nails to keep it together. . . BUT WHAT IS MISSING?! do I need to add wallpaper to the back wall? Do I need to continue the tile all the way across that wall above the washer and dryer? Do I need more exciting flooring like maybe a checkered pattern?
