Here's what I wish I knew sooner... Becoming the most abundant, most confident, most aligned, best version of yourself requires you to want more. Friendly reminder: You can't pour from an empty cup. Being the eldest daughter of immigrants comes with a lot of pressure. You have the pressure of caring for your siblings, being a good role model, helping solve everyone's problems, translating for your parents... the list goes on. You've gotten so used to putting everyone's needs before yours that it feels selfish for you to take some time for yourself. But you can't pour from an empty cup. When you pour into your own cup so much that it overfills, it fills into everyone around you. When you show up fully for yourself, you get to show up as a better parent, partner, friend, employee, etc. for everyone else.
