Today I tried one of my dream fruits- peanut butter fruit!! If you’ve been following me for a while, I made a list sometime back of all of my dream fruits to try! This was the last one I had to find on that particular list so now it’s time for me to make a new one! My friend @jeanfruitbeast harvested these in South Florida! I absolutely love peanut butter and have been dying to know if these fruits actually taste like it. Some of the fruits I’ve tried have not met up to the expectations from their names. The peanut butter fruits I got were perfectly ripened to eat. They almost looks like little blistered tomatoes, which made me a little bit nervous because I am allergic to tomatoes 😂 the pulp, and the skin are both edible, and there are large seeds in the middle that you cannot eat. I am super stoked to report that the flavor tasted like a mix of figs, pumpkin and of course peanut butter!!! it was the perfect mix of all of those flavors. The texture was jammy almost like pumpkin purée! This fruit far exceeded my expectations 🥹 #rarefruit #peanutbutterfruit #fruittok
