Value and worth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As a child of God, you don’t have to earn it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Because you are His, you already have it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I mentioned the memorial for the 173 being planned last week, and I realize many of you may not have found this community until just recently. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In September of last year, we had the honor to lay to rest 173 adults from our county that had not been claimed by family at the Coroner’s Office. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Together with the Coroner’s Office and my dear friend Alfie we held a celebration of life for these beautiful souls and were able to lay them to rest in a beautiful ossuary complete with a brilliant dove sculpture. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It was an honor to say yes to God when this opportunity came to light. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I will be sharing a few more snippets of the service while we prepare for the memorial service to continue to give honor and dignity to all who were laid to rest that day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Video by @mikechandlermedia ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #honor #dignity #heknowsyourname #legacy #memorial #laidtorest #unclaimed #Value #worth #his #family

When we ordered the flowers, Lisa asked my wife the purpose of the flowers; she told her of the He Knows Your Name ministry. As my wife was picking up the flowers, Lisa told her that they were free. My wife tried to pay but Lisa refused and said she was happy to donate the flowers.
