Lisbon Day 6 - travel diaries 🚃☔️ We adapt and we improvise! Transport tips below 👇🏻 #traveltips #recommendations #lisbon #almada #tram28 #28E #traveladvice #couples #holiday #thingstodo #activities What we did: - Day trip to Almada 🌊 originally we wanted to get electric Bolt bikes using the app and cycle across the 25 de Abril bridge but the area we could cycle in was linited to Lisbon only. It was around €45 each to hire electric bikes from an independent store, so instead we booked a return ferry trip for €3.50 each #savingtips 😏⛴️ the ferry journey was about 15 minutes and they run every 30 minutes or so! - We got an uber to Almada Forum (really big shopping centre) as it was chucking it down. We originally wanted to explore the streets of Almada but it was far too wet💧 we could not escape the rain!! - Wok to Walk 🍜 was where we stopped for food inside Almada Forum and theres loads of choices for a hearty lunch! - Flower ice cream: as many flavours as you want🍨 - Tram 28 or 28E on maps was the most popular tram route to take you round most of Lisbon. We were so excited to hop on the tram and I’d been waiting all week to get on one…it took us half of the route and then stopped and chucked everyone off for some reason😂 sticking to the metro for ease but a cool experience other than that🚃 - Tram Tickets 🎟️ we bought a 24 hour pass for €6.60 each at any metro station which allowed us to use all transport (metro,bus,tram etc.) just not the ferries. You can also get a 48 hour ticket too, same price per day. I’d recommend keeping your transport card and topping it up so you don’t have to spend €1 each time on a new one🎫 - Dinner was just off Rua Augusta street, where they have a big cheese wheel they mix the pasta into! Always wanted to try those and it was worth it🍝 BIGGEST TIP OF THE TRIP: if you are travelling in October bring a raincoat☔️
