Microwave til thickened & not watery (~30-60 sec). Mixture is super hot so let cool until just warm. Gradually mix in 1 to 1.5 cups of tapioca starch (or until dough texture resembles playdoh). ***No substitutions for tapioca starch / tapioca flour*** ✿ Step 2: Divide up & color/flavor dough. 80% dough + 1 tbsp cocoa powder + black food coloring, 10% dough + yellow food color, 10% dough (+ white food color - optional but recommended). ✿ Step 3: Shape doughs into Chococat! For sizing, start with 1 regular sized black boba for the head and go from there 🫡 (roll extra dough into regular boba! cooking is still the same as Step 4) ✿ Step 4: Boil boba for 20 minutes, then simmer for 20 minutes with the lid on.
