These days I’m harnessing that sweet golden renewable energy. Nbd. Nbd. I recently made the switch to solar, and thanks to my friends at SunPower the transition was super easy and way faster than I expected. Yes, I too had my questions at first when I was considering solar. But let me hit you with this: did you know residential energy use accounts for roughly 20% of greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S? How about the fact that roughly 55% of the cumulative emissions reductions to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 are linked to consumer choices? Let’s be real, I may prefer hand tools to machines but I’m not going full Luddite and foregoing electricity any time soon 😂 So finding a way to power my home in a more responsible and sustainable way felt like a no brainer. It’s a single step forward in a long journey, but it’s progress nonetheless. Also not for nothing, but utility rates continue to rise, solar remains one of the least expensive forms of energy, AND SunPower is the top rated residential solar company in the U.S, having been around almost 40 years already.
