I will never make another cabochon palette mould in my life! 🙄😵 And unholy amount of work went into making these perfect reverse resin masters I won't bore you with the details of how I made them. BUT I figured I better hurry and release them before my shop closes for 1 year in 6 days!! On the 16th of October or you guys may never get an opportunity to use them! I now have a total of 6 cabochon palette moulds - all the shapes and sizes you could possibly need or want as a resin artist! Rectangle, square, oval, teardrop, circle, faceted... Making your own resin cabochons is a huge cost saver instead of purchasing glass cabs every single piece. But not only that... You can also cast flowers in these! Highly requested by the floral preservation community to have larger and thicker sizes. So your wish is my command with some of the larger sizes on these palettes measuring 50 and 60 mm wide and 12 mm thick! Perfect for larger statement jewellery items like pendants, or make dangle double earrings. I hope you like these moulds as I really put my heart and soul into creating them. 🥲 Available in singles or Bundle Deals at www.hillsideartstudio.com.au These will only be available for the next 6 days to purchase.

When shopping from a small business, it's easy to think our prices are way too expensive. I think as a society we have become used to getting things cheap and fast from shops like aliexpress, Amazon, eBay, kmart etc. It's frankly just impossible for small businesses to price match bulk mass-produced factory moulds. Once you've used quality hand-made moulds, you are shocked by the amazing results they produce, how they require no after work like sanding, and just the quality you feel literally in the silicone in your hands. I absolutely understand that everyone starts off using cheap factory moulds, and there's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with continuing to use them, either. I understand premium moulds are a luxury and not in everyones budget. Also, not all resin jobs are worth the investment for premium moulds because they might be a one-off job. But the problem lies in comparing the prices and expecting handmade moulds made with best of the best premium platinum cure silicone USA made to be the same price as mass produced in factories in China with poor quality silicone that only lasts a few casts. It's rarer these days to find artisan made shops to buy from. Supply costs have increased drastically over the last few years, and we still have to somehow pay ourselves a wage for our time. Anyway, I hope this gives you an insight into the expenses into silicone moulds and understand the pricing. I also totally understand that people have no idea about this and don't blame you if you thought previously my prices are too high. I know my quality is top-notch and worth every penny, and my 500 plus 5 star reviews on etsy think the same :) Website for moulds www.hillsideartstudio.com.au

The largest tray mould on the market is finally ready for release! I've painstakingly spent months making this resin master for a deep back XL tray mould, and I hope 31.7 cm wide by 40.5cm long and 3.3 cm deep is satisfying enough for you! Haha This mould will be available tomorrow 27/09/23 at 8pm ACST or 6:30 am EST. See story for countdown. ⚠️ 📢 🚨 Take note that my website is closing for mould orders in 20 days on October 16th for about 1 year while we sell our house and travel 🚐 🇦🇺 🏕! Subsequently, there will only be a LIMITED amount of these moulds available before cut off date. So set your alarms ready to order as first in, first get. ❤️ Website for moulds www.hillsideartstudio.com.au
