you have the most friends when you are the worst version of yourself. true or no? now here is my review of common ways people meet and become friends with each other: social events, birthdays: these are good opportunities, however, transforming these initial encounters into genuine friendships takes a bit more effort. finding the courage to approach people and not hesitating, asking to grab coffee or proposing to attend another event together goes a long way, just donât be shy sports: yes, amazing, but not all sports are built equal. tennis can lead to individual friendships (or none) while team sports, such as, football, are great for group bonding and building a sense of community. if this is a repeat activity, amazing clubs and societies: mixed bag for me, honestly. uni societies often become arenas for social climbing rather than anything genuine. and then there are those niche groups where people seem more focused on the subject, instead of seeking genuine friendships volunteering for causes you care about: yes good but if itâs not a repeat activity with the same people all the time, itâs harder. unless you really click, impossible to stay friends have I missed any? let me know we all wanna read it! and this video: I stand behind the idea and yes itâs true about having everything you want and still feeling lonely (perhaps your passion is not a group activity - such as mine, content creation) itâs intriguing and somewhat amusing to observe people from my past, some of whom were less than kind, now reaching out for help? makes me wonder, if I wasnât doing well for myself, would they still be coming around? if not, then it kinda showsâŠso thatâs the end of the video explained thatâs all for today and wow this took me a while to make đ
have a good day and look after yourselves love you đ„° #comedy

how are we almost a quarter through the year, this is all going too fast. so here is your reminders to keep your life in check and some advice I found really useful: reducing your screen time: I have an apple watch - this helped me walk without my phone and still be able to listen to my music and stay connected caffeine: I replaced my coffee routine with a pre-workout routine đđ and if I drink pre-workout, I feel guilty and go to the gym because otherwise why would you drink a pre-workout and stay at home thatâs a wastĐ” đ so now I am at the gym every second day, by accident, bye. and goodbye to teeth-staining too. but I really miss the taste of coffee economy: urgh where!? đ© we have been worrying and waiting for years, there will be no delays to my plans to live my best life 2 remaining friends: my âif youâre lonely and have no friendsâ video is coming out tomorrow, finally, itâs taking me so long to make and you may have noticed I did not post yesterday for the same reason - some videos take days to make. stay tuned đ but short answer for now: Porsche only has 2 seats did you forget đ have I missed any useful advice? definitely, so tell me yours and have a nice day and month â€ïž

excuse me butâŠthis job description did not require âgolden retriever energyâ as a skill should you smile in your zoom meetings? here is my analysis. recently, I saw this on LinkedIn âpeople who study virtual meeting behavior recommend that participants smile 50% more often than they would in a physical meeting to âhumanizeâ the interaction and demonstrate interestâ whilst I have not been able to find a study that supports this, I do know that generally speaking, science tells us that smiling and laughter can be contagious?! at the same time, a study named âSmile Secrets: 5 Things Your Grin Reveals About Youâ indicated that smiling often could actually lead to feeling worse if the smiles are insincere. if you compel yourself to smile in an attempt to improve your mood or merely to conceal your true feelings, this approach might end up having the opposite effect. to be honest it makes sense, someone may say something in the work meeting that you may not be happy with. or it may even undermine you. but you smile all the way through it instead, suppressing your emotions, and indicating to the coworkers that they are slaying, when in fact, they are not slaying at all. my conclusion for now is that I ainât gonna smile in zoom meetings when itâs not a true reflection of how I feel. people need to work for it! but I may re-evaluate this in the future! let me know what u think too :) #wfh #jobs #comedy #linkedin

we all know that the europe summer is fast approaching. I mean, itâs basically here. itâs time to panic. or not? letâs establish some ground rules for European summer this year together: - remember: we are not cutting or shredding for European summer. that means prioritizing self-care year-round, staying on top of our health, and maintaining a balanced diet consistently. we will look good no matter when and where. - we are travelling off-season to avoid the crowds. think May, September, October, and even November. while your coworkers are navigating the European chaos in August, youâll be calmly working and eagerly anticipating your serene autumn vacation. - we are travelling to smaller cities and countries: think cute small towns. say goodbye to long lines, overrated restaurants, and hello to warm, welcoming locals. - we are embracing âslow travelâ - no more having flights every other day or rushing from one destination to the next. - and of course, we are travelling with our @Eurail pass for maximum flexibility. we want to maintain an air of mystery, allowing room for spontaneous changes of plans and magical discoveries. have I missed any? let me know your best Europe travel advice 𫶠#Europe #comedy

consider this your reminder for today: if you donât make your office meeting room bookings in time, you may have to conduct your meeting in the kitchen. which, most of the timeâŠis okay, nobody cares. and if you donât make your hotel room bookings well in time? you risk being pricĐ”d out and missing out on the biggest and potentially, the best trip of your life. you canât stay in the office kitchen when youâre traveling. speaking of room bookings - let me tell you one of my secrets: I never learned how to book a meeting room during my 2 years working at a tech company đ instead, I held all my in-person meetings in cafes, on walks, over coffee. why add another admin task? why sit for another hour in a stuffy room? active meetings, please. I NEED TO MOVE! one of my largest outdoors meetings involved 7 people strolling together. it involved a productive discussion and culminated in a delightful moment by a pond where we spotted a duck (could it be the same duck from the LinkedIn video?) leading to a fun team bonding experience. that was both the first and last time I saw those 7 colleagues, who were visiting from another countryâs office. the ducks made such an impression, that, when I resigned, many of them were among the first to message me, reminiscing our time with the duck together. to conclude: we are mammals and need to walk in forests and pond areas, to have the most happy and productive tribe. and we also need to travel - interaction between tribes allows for the exchange of ideas, information and enrichment of cultures. so letâs minimize administrative tasks as much as we can and replace these with productive experiences that nourish our souls while still meeting company objectives 𫶠#comedy #jobs
