How do you move a 7.4 tonne elephant?! (PS - he’s anaesthetised!) With this recently developed method, the answer is – upright! And, amongst other things, it makes for quite a sight… Lifting elephants upright before waking them from anaesthesia removes difficulties they have in getting back on their feet after a long period of being down.
