Replying to @🧚🏼‍♂️ - German sherpards remain the most common used Police Force dog because of their reliability. Shepards are so great as protection dogs because of how much* they care about their family. Its different to the Belgians who want to work and dont have that switch. Shepards are brilliant in house dogs that bloody STEP UP and step up CORRECTLY when its called of them. People confuse protection dogs with dangerous dogs. Shes not dangerous. Shes skilled, trained, and bloody good at what she does. She has great tolerance with children and id NEVER as a parent leave my child alone with ANY* of my dogs. If i need to cook? Theyre seperated. If i leave a room? They’re separated. The only dog that has ever needed a correction with her is my rolo, the miniature. I wouldnt trust any dog.
