#stitch with @Sidni Raphael I could not appreciate the transparency in this video enough. People rarely are honest about the realities of relationships. It’s so much more easier, to post a pretty instagram photo to create the illusion of a perfect relationship, because obviously that sells more, than to be honest, and share what real relationships look like. And sometimes, that looks like reevaluating your choices and asking yourself is this person still in alignment with who you are, or given what you know now, and today with this person, is this still the relationship, you feel is best for you. Questions to consider - when in committed relationships. #marriage#relationships#partners#inlove#marriagetips

#stitch with @Ced Okay, okay - this one hits home for a lot of us. Because many of us, ( let’s be honest ) were never taught how to share feedback with someone, in a way that’s respectful and held with love. Also, many of us have grown up as well, perceiving feedback as an attack on our character. But. I have to say, Our blindspots are exactly BLIND SPOTS for that reason. It's sooo important to recognize that feedback, even if critical, isn't always a reflection of our inherent worth - feedback by others can also serve as valuable insight into areas where we can grow and improve, ultimately contributing to our personal development and making us better individuals. Tell me, what are your thoughts when you hear this? #feedback#gentlereminders#selfwork

#stitch with @AFRO TV It’s so easy to write people off - but the reality is, friendships, relationships, any one relationship that’s meaningful to us, requires us to have a vulnerability that acknowledges .. “this person, can and will hurt me, they’re not exempt of making mistakes, disappointments are possible even with those we love” – not everyone has the tools for what they’re going through, and not every relationship has the tools for tough times. #friendships#relationships#adviceforwomen#relationshiptips

#stitch with @Tonight's Conversation Firstly, to each their own. Everyone’s marriage or relationship takes shape in a way that works for them. However, however, however - while I believe that supporting your partner is crucial - it is not healthy to ever assume the role of mothering. You are not your partner's mother. Support should never be so dependent where the dynamics hinder your partner’s personal growth. Instead, the goal in relationships, and if you want to participate in healthy ones, requires working towards fostering a dynamic of mutual support where both partners learn to nurture each other as best as they can in a reciprocal way. #mothers#toxicrelationships#redflags
