He is and always will be my greatest love and there will continually be a hole in my heart that will never heal. Logan was my soul-mate. It takes some people decades to find the person they were meant to be with. It takes others several tries to find them. And some, never do. I am one of those lucky few that found him on the first try. All it took was one look and I knew he was the man I was meant to spend the rest of my life with. I will miss the way he always smelled like Irish spring when he hugged me and how it made me float in his arms and feel that everything would be okay, no matter what happened. I will miss his huge goofy smile and the way he tilted his head back because he would laugh so hard. I will miss hearing him sing to me in the car and going to sleep to his voice. He loved making music. That was his passion. Logan and I did not get nearly enough time together. But as heartbroken as I am, I am equally grateful. Even in these last few days of completely unexpected hell – the darkest and saddest moments of my life – I know how lucky I have been to have been blessed with his beautiful being. I didn't get the rest of my life, but I got the rest of his. As we put the love of my life to rest, we will bury only his body. His spirit, his soul, his amazing ability to give will always be with us. It lives on in the stories people are sharing of how he touched their lives and in the love that is visible in the eyes of our family and friends. Logan, you have been sent home to rest in peace. I will see you later because we never say goodbye. I love you so much.
