4 years ago I let go of what I knew and started DIYing….. I found myself learning To use tools that scared me Perseverance Passion Finish carpentry Framing Home Design Tile Drywall 👎🏻 Furniture building (and for much less than retail) Creating a haven for my family To be relentless and believe in myself And in the process of finding myself, you found my page. We’ve had our ups and our downs, trials and errors but also success. Through sickness and health (don’t worry, this isn’t a marriage proposal but you’re welcome to stay and eat 🍰), I’ve been able to continue to grow and show you how to start making your house a home. A mother of 3 spirited young girls, married 12 years to the love of my life, my intern and site supervisor, Mylo🐶, and previously a photographer and graphic design for 11 years before focusing on my family, I now get the chance to do what I patiently love and get to teach that along the way. We live in high socks, leggings, and baggy shirts here, so come comfortable! I don’t have all the money in the world for extravagant projects but I will share both budget friendly and larger scale projects, to inspire you to know what you can do small things that make big impacts within your home. 🏡 I was able to increase our homes value by almost double and we sold it in 36 hours! Let's build a closet for my almost 10 year old! Although space is limited in her closet, I was determined to make sure the dresser we got would fit and she wouldnt lose space for hanging her clothing.
