Replying to @_.greete_ Part 5! Making Clawdeen’s Boots 💜🖤 from Monster High I thrifted an old pair of wedges and made boot covers from scratch using sew in foam and faux leather. The straps are poly webbing with added gold buckles. There’s a zipper on the inside leg of the boot to get in and out. And I painted the wedge heels a dark grey using Angelus leather acrylic paint which worked out wonderfully. To attach the boot covers to the heels, I was originally going to glue them on but it didn’t hold well so we decided to nail it which was the way to go 🙌 This is the last big piece I had to make for my clawdeen wolf cosplay, the rest is customizing her belt and making her necklace which is pretty straight forward so I probably won’t be posting that.
