#Deaf is #beautiful no matter what you choose! We personally feel the implant is not our decision but hers. she has a non life threatening condition, and surgery always comes with risks. ASL is a great language, and more and more people are using it every day for a variety of different conditions! Deaf culture is beautiful! My daughter is perfect the way she is, and no amount of pressure is going to make me change my mind. When Gamora understands the risks and the work involved with being implanted, she can decide for herself. The C.I was created to make hearing peoples lives easier. Not hers. 🦻🤟
