Bachelorette party night one recap! This entire trip was a surprise and beyond what I could have ever imagined. I can’t wait to share more because it was truly perfect. My maids of honor handled everything, and all I knew was the location (Sonoma), the dates (over my 30th birthday weekend), and the outfit inspo for each day (but tbh I could’ve showed up with nothing and I’d be set). Night 1 we: - arrived and changed into our @goosebumpsshop pjs - we made aperol spritz’s and painted on the deck - they had my fiancé send photos of me, photos of him, and photos of us together. Everyone picked a photo then painted our ‘best’ version of that photo. - after that we had pizza and played a relationship trivia game. They had asked my fiancé a bunch of questions, he submitted videos of himself answering, then if my answer didn’t match his - I drank. If my answers did match his - everyone else drank. It was THE BEST way to ease into the weekend and for everyone to chat before things got a little crazier 😏 Let me know what bachelorette party questions you have and keep an eye out for lots more from this trip. #bachelorette #bacheloretteparty #bacheloretteweekend #bachparty #2024bride #weddingcountdown #wineweekend #maidofhonorduties

POV: you see your fiancé in his wedding day suit for the first time 😏 We used @Generation Tux home try-on services to test drive my fiancé’s wedding day suit. We picked the suit and accessories based on our swatches, and it turned out perfect! The home try-on is a free service for all grooms and gives you 48 hours to try on your look to test for fit, comfortability, color, and overall vision. Plan to tackle this 3-4 months out from the big day and follow up with your customer experience representative for any fit adjustments/notes. *Wedding planning pro tip* - do this after you’ve selected your first dance song or added a few classics to your reception playlist. Dance around with your fiancé to make sure your suit really passes the test! #groomattire #groom #weddingday #weddingprep #weddinglooks #weddingattire #weddingcountdown #2024wedding

Things we do in our relationship that just works for us! This year we decided to alternate household responsibilities each month and tbh it’s been a game changer. This means that one month he’ll be in charge of all dishes while I’m in charge of all laundry. We picked these two since they’re the biggest/most prevalent in our house and we complete other chores/tasks together. We noticed that assigning tasks holds us accountable, ensures we understand the work that goes into each task, and prevents burnout from one partner always completing the same tasks. Obviously there are exceptions and we step in based on schedules, bandwidth, and just to be nice. If my fiancé has a particularly busy schedule, I’ll step in and load the dishwasher and vice versa. *I think the balance of having assigned tasks while still stepping in and supporting your partner as needed is key here* #marriagegoals #relationshiptips #weddingprep #weddingcountdown #fiance #marriagetip #weddingplanning
