My sunshine. The man who never missed a practice or a game. The man who went to a shitty job for 33 years because he wanted to give us everything. The man who would tell anyone he has the great honor of watching his daughter learn how to walk twice. This road to recovery has been long, & at times extremely heartbreaking. But I'm glad it is. Because if it wasn't, the lessons wouldn't be as clear. Even in the worst of the worst, all I can do is thank Jesus that on that cloudy afternoon 5 years ago, I had the worst day of my life. Now, I'm on borrowed time. Every extra moment I've gained with this fella mean EVERYTHING to me. I've been able to make it through every gut wrenching moment because it is worth being this side of heaven with my people. Don't wait for something or someone to be gone to know how much it means to you. Accidents & death are very real, & very random.
