Been really loving getting out and filming/photograping the Bald Eagles lately! Slowly crawled for 20 minutes through the wet rocks and salmon carcasses to capture that second clip! After the salmon are finished spawning and the water levels have dropped is a great time to view Bald Eagles! The exposed salmon carcasses that wash up on rivers edge means there is lots of food available for them to eat! The salmon carcasses dont just feed the surrounding wildlife! As the bodies break down it releases nutrients back into the ground contributing to the overall health of the ecosystem! #wildlife #baldeagles @Sigma Canada @Sony Alpha
