Use a mixture of baking soda, water, and washing up liquid to tackle a greasy oven. 2. Pretreat armpit stains with washing up liquid and baking soda. 3. Use an extendable cleaning scrubber to clean your bathtub. 4. Freshen your carpet by using baking soda and essential oil. 5. Place a small bin inside your mop bucket to mop with cleaner water. 6. Apply shaving foam to the bottom of your toilet to banish urine smells. 7. Mix baking soda, salt, and essential oil to combat fridge odours. 8. Give your hairbrush a thorough clean by soaking it in warm water, baking soda, and shampoo. 9. Fill a saucepan with water and a mix of your favourite spices, herbs, and fruit. Let it simmer to make your home smell incredible. 10. 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁. 🧼 We should clean the things that clean our homes. One of my favourite things to do each year is to sterilize some of my cleaning cloths. 💫 Method: Place your microfiber cloths in an old pot, add baking soda, and fill with water. Boil for 15 minutes, then let cool and rinse with water. Finish by washing them in a normal washing machine cycle and letting them air dry. 💫 Why this method: Did you know that there are more bacteria in your cloths and sponges than in your toilet bowl? That is why we should boil our cloths to minimize the spread of germs. Most hot washing cycles on a washing machine run for over two hours and use a lot of energy.
