Ive seen too many videos of women posting their unedited/filler free face and being torn down, more still of girls who have chosen to have work done being told it has aged them. Why does this matter though? Like can we not just let people live and as long as they are causing no harm we dont have to pull each other down. Wrinkles are a fact of life but so is getting work done; having either does not need to be shameful or shamed. Whichever side of the fence youre on your looks are going to change as you grow, so consider what it would feel like to receive these comments in ten or so years. Age really is just a number and beauty really does come in many shapes. I hope people’s self-love and self-worth comes from a place that is more than skin deep, no matter what we look like.
