Please don’t starve yourself just to have a smaller tummy in an outfit 🥺❤️🩹 You owe nobody a “flat tummy”!!! Food is energy, not the enemy 🥹 so you’ll have a body 💅 BODYING 💅 in a tight dress or a bathing suit, who cares? Rock it!!! Embrace it!! It’s part of being human ✨ I promise you it is not worth being so hungry that you’re miserable. Your body does so much for you & life is far too short for that 🥺 by letting your body breathe & your tummy out, you might even inspire someone else to feel comfortable in their skin too! 🫂 #bodyimage #bodyimageissues #bodyimagemovement #confidenceboost #bloatedbelly #woman #beautystandards #bethechange #bodycondress

reminders you might need today 🍫❤️🩹⤵️ 1️⃣ it’s okay if you ate more than usual across the Easter weekend!! 2️⃣ even if all you did was lay in bed, your body still needs & uses food just to exist & function 3️⃣ if you’re noticing body changes at the end of Easter, it’s temporary water retention, your body hasn’t changed permanently overnight 4️⃣ please don’t weigh yourself - it’s not helpful & the number won’t be accurate 5️⃣ food is fuel, but it’s also for enjoyment too, if today was purely for enjoyment, that’s okay <3 6️⃣ it’s one day (or weekend) out of 365, you haven’t “fallen off the wagon”, this is part of life & can be part of a balanced lifestyle 🫂 7️⃣ don’t let your harsh inner-critic take away the small joys in your life like enjoying chocolate on Easter with loved ones 8️⃣ our bodies change inevitably across our lifetimes, so please don’t be too caught up worrying about yours changing 9️⃣ you still deserve food the day after eating more than usual 🔟 when you look back at your life, will you really regret eating the yummy food & making memories with loved ones? or would you regret restricting yourself from all the food you enjoy & being all-consumed by fears/thoughts around food? & lastly, guilt doesn’t serve you, you didn’t do anything wrong, okay? 💗 Just leaving these here because I’ve always experienced food guilt or restrictive thoughts around food on Easter (I’m sure I’m not the only one) and while I’ve improved a lot & have worked on my relationship with food, these thoughts still rear their heads… BUT reminders like these have helped me to no longer give those thoughts power. So please take what you need & pass it on 🫂❤️🩹 I hope you had a magical Easter & enjoyed all the foods you felt like enjoying!! Big hugs 🤗🍫 #easter #recovery #bodyimage #foodfreedom #easterweekend #happyeaster #foodguilt #bekindtoyourself #dietculture #bekindtoyourmind

Don’t be so worried about your weight/body that you deny yourself happiness, fun, joy, memories & a fuller life 🥹❤️🩹 (more on lG: breeelenehan) By working on my relationship with food & my body image, I gained SO MUCH MORE than just “weight” I gained: 🌟 food freedom 😂 laughter (REAL laughter, not just the half-hearted semi-present empty-stomach kind) 💭 memories 🌈 joy 💐 the ability to be more present 🫂 vulnerability 💌 self acceptance 🍦 balance 🥰 more sustainable habits the list goes on & on… in case it helps, these are some of the things I did to help heal the way I treated my body so that I could live a fuller life: 💪 prioritised actually BEING healthy (mentally AND physically) instead of just LOOKING “lean” or “fit” 🥗 worked with a fitness professional who was aware I needed help to heal my relationship with food. She supported me by increasing my food intake & helped make the process less scary. She helped me get my period back & understand my body better. 📱 followed accounts that remind me that I’m more than my body, that bodies change & all of us look different 🫶 📸 challenged myself to work on my confidence (weekly solo dates), BE MYSELF openly online & be comfortable with all versions of me!! ❤️🩹 I consciously worked on being kinder to myself: not entertaining negative thoughts, choosing to be more accepting & appreciative of my body 🍪🍏 aimed for balance & moderation… Because it shouldn’t have to be all-or-nothing, that mindset isn’t sustainable or enjoyable!! 📢 You deserve a fuller life & you can’t do that on an empty stomach okay? You’re so much more than the way that you look… What’s more important is how you & your life FEELS 🫂 #recovery #foodfreedom #bodyimage #bethechange #selfacceptance #recoveryjourney #youngerself #dietculture #beautystandards
