Is Wall Street the villain to blame for these high home prices? It all depends on the location of the real estate. Here are the six main cities where hedge funds are buying homes; however, most of these single-family rental homes are actually being purchased by mom-and-pop investors like you and me. The real villains are the politicians who cut rates but don't permit the construction of new homes. ๐ ๐ธ๐ค๐ #RealEstate #HomePrices #WallStreet #HousingMarket #Investment #Politics

Looking at this article, it seems that even though inflation came in hot, State Street, one of the world's powerhouses alongside Vanguard and BlackRock, is optimistic about a rate cut happening in June. I don't know what they're smoking, but they need to pass some over here. I still believe there's going to be a rate cut, maybe in September, unless they're planning to put the squeeze on or they know something I don't to get rates to come down. #Inflation #RateCut #StateStreet #FinancialMarkets #EconomicOutlook #MonetaryPolicy ๐๐๐ผ๐ฌ

The question some homeowners wrestle with is: Should I pay off my home early, or should I invest the difference? The best way to find out is to run the numbers. And so we did, and we realized that depending on your investment, if you have a good rate of return, it might be better to invest and then eventually pay off your home earlier with the compound interest. In our example, we did it in 23 years; we were able to pay off the home and still have money for retirement. Remember, this example is for someone who, after 23 years, retired and was able to withdraw the money without paying taxes on their gains. You can still do the same thing. If you don't have a retirement plan, you just get less back. #Homeownership #EarlyRepayment #Investing #RetirementPlanning #FinancialFreedom #CompoundInterest ๐ ๐ฐ๐๐

The problem with saving money for a down payment is that typical people save for seven years. By the time they have saved enough, the home's value has increased significantly, diminishing their buying power and often causing them to give up. Here's a strategy that one of my viewers used to ensure that their money and buying power remained intact when they were ready to buy seven years later. #SavingTips #HomeBuying #RealEstateInvestment #FinancialPlanning #BuyingPower #DownPayment ๐ ๐ธ๐๐
