So many people aren’t doing these things 😅 retinoids are such a powerful tool but they do need to be used correctly, so here is a vid on how to use tretinoin (or any retinoid - retinol, retinaldehyde etc) correctly. If you’re interested in the buffer or sandwich method, my two cents is that I do believe these work, I just personally prefer not to. Or at least, they’re good retinoid techniques for getting into using one, but after a few months you might want to try using it directly on dry skin for better results.
