Why do my eyes shake?! this is my most frequently asked question in all my comments of all my videos across all platforms. It's called Nystagmus. It's an involuntary eye movement caused by my genetic condition: Albinism. Because my body doesn't produce enough melanin, my eyes never properly developed. I can't "see" it, and I don't feel it. It's one of the many factors that contribute to mv blindness. Contrary to what people believe: I don't "see blurry" because I've never not had it so my brain can't conceptualize not having it. It doesn't hurt but when I try to use too much of my residual vision (since 90% of people who are blind have some degree of usable vision) it can cause migraines. There is a surgery for it but I don't want it at all - it would have no significant impact on my vision and it's an invasive surgery so I don't really care for it. It mainly bothers others more than it bothers me. Some people call it ugly or creepy but I couldn't care less because it's not like I can control it. Any questions?
