Delays are so hard for everyone but with autism when the expected routine is disrupted or big things change its so hard for Abbey. This was particularly difficult because by the time we got to Los Angeles, it was 3:00 AM for Abbey time coming from the East Coast. When her sleep is disrupted it can be catastrophic. I have to be very careful because she feeds off my energy so I trying to stay positive even though i was beyond frustrated like everyone else.
