God wants to rest his head in your heart. We think that we are seeking treasure on this Earth. What we seek is God's unconditional love. We just don't know it yet. We have to experience life to find our treasure. We seek and chase this and that thinking that this is our treasure to only be disappointed after the excitement wears off. Then back on our journey to seek the next thing. It becomes this constant seek and chase and never truly satisfied. Because we have been chasing the money and things thinking that’s going to fulfill you. But once attained we still feel this emptiness. What is it that we can't find here on Earth? We've been taught and deceived to see that all the materials of this world will suffice and satisfy our needs. Ever stop to think why? It's all about control and power to give ourselves what we think the world wants of us. We think that we have freedom but to what extent. How can we say we are free if we are in a constant pursuit of happiness. Happiness and freedom is something we can't chase, rather it's already been within us. The treasure we seek is love. The love of the father. The one who created you and me. The one who truly loves you unconditionally for who he made you to be. Happiness dwells within us. We have to choose to let God's love, joy and grace reside in our hearts. There we will find true happiness and freedom. Which we can't chase and receive externally but for a moment... happiness is fleeting and not everlasting only the joy that comes from God. Stop seeking outward and turn inward… you will find and discover everything you wanted was already within you. Your heart is your treasure. As you were seeking God he was seeking you as well. He wants to rest and be with you for all eternity.
