You don’t need to be a Swifty to label these as your new favorite cookie 🤯☕️🍪 Taylor Swift’s Chai Sugar Cookie recipe (makes about 16 cookies) 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 1/3 cup olive oil 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/3 cup powdered sugar 1 egg 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 chai tea bag ICING 1 cup powdered sugar 2 Tablespoons milk 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and nutmeg, each Use an electric mixer to beat butter until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes). Beat in olive oil until combined then add sugars, egg and vanilla. Beat again to combine. Slowly beat in flour, baking soda, salt, and contents inside the tea bag (yes, the entire bag). Beat until a soft dough forms and refrigerate dough for 1 hour (I like to roll my dough into balls before refrigerating so I can pop them straight into the oven). Once the dough is chilled preheat oven to 350 and roll into tablespoon sized balls if you haven’t already. 🥣 Turkey Noodle Soup 🥣 because sometimes soups just sound good in the summer! I swapped out shredded chicken for ground turkey and LOVED the flavor. So easy and so yummy! 1/2 Tablespoon butter 2 carrots, peeled and sliced 2 ribs celery, sliced 1/2 onion, diced Salt and pepper 1 teaspoon olive oil 1 lb ground turkey (lean) 4 cups chicken broth 1 teaspoon dried thyme and rosemary, each 1/2 teaspoon dried dill Juice of 1/2 a lemon 3 cups egg noodles Handful of fresh parsley, chopped Melt butter in a pot over medium heat. Once melted, add carrots, celery, onion, pinch of salt and pepper. Sautee for 4-5 minutes or until onions are translucent. Remove veggies from the pot and set aside. Add oil and ground turkey to the pot with another pinch of salt and pepper (it’s important to layer on seasonings at each step!). Break up the turkey while cooking. When the turkey is cooked through add the veggies back in with the broth, seasonings, lemon juice, and noodles. Bring to a boil. Add pasta once boiling and cook until al dente (about 6-8 minutes). Turn off heat and stir in parsley. Taste and add more salt and pepper as needed. #soup #turkeysoup #soupinthesummer
