On the 19th of July, 2013, NASA’s spacecraft ‘Cassini’ took this photo of Saturn, where 7 of it’s moons, and our planet, Earth, were clearly visible In the background. Earth appears as nothing more than a small blue dot in this image, as this photo was taken at a distance of approximately 1.44 Billion Km away from earth. The photo was given the name, “The Day The Earth Smiled” Your whole life- everyone you’ve ever met, everything you’ve ever been through- it all revolves around that dot.
