The last several weeks, I’ve been working a ton. I keep telling my boys I’m gonna take all of them to the golf course, but then another week goes by that I didn’t find a window. My work is important and it’s the only way I can feed them, but I know I have to get better about making time to really spend with them and soak in these moments. I’m a blessed man and these boys will be grown up before I know it. So today, we had some fun and went to the golf course. One thing we all have in common, is at some point, we’re all gonna struggle. I know I’ve seen my fair share of it. It’s taken me a while to see the value in that struggle, but I’ve learned first hand that God doesn’t waste any of it. Every time I felt like things would never look up, that I just couldn’t take any more, God would take me somewhere that was better than I ever could have imagined. And the best part, was that I was stronger and wiser for it. I still struggle and have my doubts, just like all of us, but I’m learning a little bit more every day how I can lean in and embrace it.
