Raj puts in a lot of effort into trying to be more mindful towards Priya. She, however, decides that she is upset and shows a cold shoulder towards his attempts to make things right again. This is such a realistic scene. The way he tries to feign a convincing smile in an effort to make her feel better, the way he has a small „faux-pax“ by falling into old habits (telling her off at the food portion). You can see how his smile gradually turns into frown until he just throws his hands into the air in despair, conceding he’s at an impasse. I love, love, LOVE this scene!
