A Florida police officer was relieved of duty pending an investigation into an incident with a Seminole County Sheriff’s Office deputy who accused him of speeding in the area. According to an arrest report on June 9, Orlando Police Department Officer Alexander Shaouni was observed going 80 m.p.h. in a 45 m.p.h. zone when he was pursued by an SCSO deputy and failed to stop. Body-cam footage later shows Shaouni arguing with the Seminole County sheriff's deputy for pulling him over. He allegedly refused to hand over his driver's licence and proceeded to drive away from the deputy.
