Ive never publicly spoken up about this, but April is CSA & SA awareness month so here goes. CSA and SA are not rare, its just not spoken about often. Chances are you know a victim, and chances are you know a perpetrator. As a child, I endured 10 years of SA. As a teen and even in my early 20s it happened again and again. Stop making jokes about it, stop questioning victims when they open up, stop acting like it’s rare - because its not. Its happening to or has happened to your friends, your family members, your colleagues.
