Window coverings are a big and important decision you will make on your home. They not only are functional providing you privacy and protection for your furniture from UV light, but they make the first design statement in your home! For our home we did a mix of fabric light filtering roller shades and shutters. I chose to go with a light color fabric so that when they are up they blend in and practically disappear and don’t distract from the rest our home. When they are down they give us 100% privacy while still letting in the light and keeping our home light and bright! To warm it up I paired them with curtains to bring the whole space together. My shades are from @sunburstshutters and @powershades_ in the SheerWeave 7250R fabric in the color Swan.
