So synesthesia is a part of David’s autism. Abbey does not have this, although she has memorized his color number pattern which is so impressive to me. Many with autism have a similar thinking pattern. Many have synesthesia and are not autistic but may be musically/math inclined. I find this incredibly interesting and remain in awe of those that have such thinking patterns. I think I counted over 23 colors David could remember in a row. I could never do that not even with a cheat sheet lol.
