more details — 🧸 • soap 🧼: dish soap is powerful, but never contains bleach, so it’s great for cleaning coloured flocking! for white flocking though, the whitening agents in laundry detergent can be helpful! 🧸 • water temperature 🛁: never put your sylvanians in hot water, only lukewarm! hot water can melt the glue that holds the flocking on. older figures may have weaker glue, so stick to cold water for them! 15+ year old figures should not be submerged if possible - try to use a damp cloth instead. 🧸 • washing 🧽: don’t scrub too hard, or you’ll ruin the flocking! use your hands, a soft face cleaning brush, or a very soft toothbrush to clean your sylvanians. 🧸 • drying 🧺: pat dry with a towel (no rubbing)! you can blow dry most clothes on low heat, but don’t use heat on the flocked figures. let them air dry! if you live in a cold or wet climate, a hair drier on a cold setting is okay. 🧸 • other 🚿: dust and debris is best removed with washi tape, old blue tack, or lint roller sheets. this washing method is best reserved for figures that are dirty or stained! 🧸 i hope this guide is helpful, if u have any other tips or questions, leave them in the comments or dm me and i’ll do my best to help 😊 #sylvanianfamilies #calicocritters
